Bleck!
That's not such an inviting title, I know. But it pretty much sums up how I feel right now.
Before bed, I felt so hot that I was sweating even with two fans pointing directly on me. Michael was freezing!
In the middle of the night, I woke up with the shakes because I was chilling so badly. I couldn't move to turn off the fans or wake Michael up so I just buried down into the covers and switched on my heating pad.
The nausea isn't as bad as I thought it would be, though. I'm still experiencing some issues and plan to contact my doctor tomorrow. He said to let him know if there was the slightest problem.
Basically, I just feel weary and icky and can't find a comfortable temperature.
One prayer request that I forgot to mention in my last post....
This med's purpose is to slow my immune response which is good where my healthy body tissue is concerned. It's not so great where fighting germs is concerned.
I am very nervous about entering the cold/flu season and am already hearing reports of a nasty, flu-like bug going around my town. If I catch the common cold, it will most likely lead to bronchitis or pneumonia. That's nothing new. However, I am now a high-risk person where the flu is concerned and I'm not sure if I should get the vaccine. Some say it is okay as long as it is not the nasal one with the live virus. Others say that it should absolutely be avoided.
I need to find out what my doctor advises and I need to take as many precautions as I can. I know I can't live in a bubble, but it is my hope that people will do their best to protect me (e.g. not come to church with the swine flu- it has happened). Michael is also having to take precautions, seeing how he works at agerm factory school. lol!
Thanks for praying. Last week, I felt better by Monday morning and was able to go on with my regular routine. I am praying for the same this week.

I hope you're feeling better, dear friend! Sorry I missed your posts - thought I had added this to my reader, but I guess I didn't. Praying for you always though and will definitely pray that you're safe from all the germs going around.
